Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM) Visits Kabupaten Kampar, Riau.

Bangkinang – Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia (UMAM) conducted an official visit and educational outreach program in Kabupaten Kampar, Riau Province, on December 19, 2024.

The visit was led by UMAM Rector, Dr. Saidul Amin, MA, and warmly welcomed by Acting Regent (PJ) of Kampar, Hambali, SE., MBA., MH. "We greatly appreciate Universiti Muhammadiyah Malaysia's commitment to enhancing human resource development in Kampar Regency through quality education," said Hambali.

The event was attended by key figures from Kampar Regency, including department heads, representatives from regional apparatus organizations (OPD), and local community leaders. Several UMAM delegates were also present to support the agenda.

The primary goal of the visit was to strengthen collaboration between UMAM and the Kampar Regency Government in advancing education based on Islamic values. UMAM also outlined its vision and mission to improve the quality of higher education with a global perspective.

Dr. Saidul Amin highlighted various flagship programs available to Indonesian students, including scholarship opportunities and further study options in Malaysia. "We hope that the synergy between UMAM and Kampar Regency will produce academically excellent youth with strong Islamic character," he said.

The visit concluded with a productive discussion on potential future collaborations. Both parties expressed their hope to support each other in creating a better, smarter, and morally upright generation for the nation.
